Hands On Education @ 6 Acre Farm

Join us for a farm school class that embraces gardening education and flower farming as a means to teach sustainable living practices and empower individuals of all ages. This unique educational opportunity aims to inspire children and adults alike to cultivate their own food while nurturing a flower farm that brings joy to others, enhances mental well-being, and preserves the environment.

Through this immersive experience, students gain invaluable knowledge on local flora and fauna, acquire essential gardening skills, and partake in routine farm maintenance tasks that come hand-in-hand with farm life.

Family Time

There's nothing like getting outside and enjoying the beauty of God's creation. Take some time to unplug and immerse yourself in the sounds of nature while exploring flower farming and gardening education with us at the 6 Acre Farm in Summerville, SC, where we also promote sustainable living practices.

Unplug & Unwind

Explore and let the children learn hands-on through gardening education. Want to cut the overgrown okra in half and see what is inside? Let's count the seeds! What shapes do you see? How does it feel? Smell? Lisa has over 20 years of experience educating children in the Summerville area and enjoys providing natural opportunities for children to learn about sustainable living practices and thrive outdoors through flower farming.

All About Me

My name is Lisa, and I love providing opportunities for children and families to become lifelong learners. After graduating from Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education, I spent 18 years teaching public school right here in Summerville. Now, you can find me homeschooling my three daughters and offering unique learning opportunities for children, including gardening education and sustainable living practices. I also enjoy flower farming on a beautiful piece of property located near downtown Summerville, where I love sharing my passion with others and building the kingdom of God.
